The Infinity Scarf

The Infinity Scarf

This is a super easy, super fun scarf to make! It's a great way to learn how to crochet, and it's so fast and easy it would make a perfect present for anyone.

I made this scarf using Red Heart Boutique Big & Lite. I can't remember the colour, and their site isn't giving me a colour list. Oh well!
The scarf didn't even use the entire ball.

Materials
1 ball of Red Heart Boutique Big & Lite
1 6.5mm crochet hook

Gauge
8 sc worked through back loop = 4 in. (10 cm)

Gauge helps, but isn't necessary.

Scarf
Chain 151

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in every ch across. 120 sc total.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc across in back of each.
Row 3-9: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off.

Stitch the ends together to make into infinity scarf.

Alterations
You can chain more than 151 to make it longer, or less if you want it shorter. I made mine with 9 rows, but you can make more or less than that.

Use a bigger hook to make bigger stitches, or use a finer yarn to make it sleek (remember to add more chains to make up for the difference)!

Happy crafting!
